Teams or Solo Agents: Who Sells Austin's Homes at $1.5M and Up?

Over the last 12 months, 240 homes at $1.5M and up sold in Austin through the agents in the Summer 2026 issue, and the split between teams and individual agents is closer than the city's reputation suggests. Individual agents closed 141 of those sales for $368M, while 18 teams closed 99 for $281.1M. The numbers below show how each side reached its share, and the leaders on both sides have directory pages where the work is visible.  Individual agents hold the larger share of the count, 59% of the 240 sales, while teams hold 41%, a split that reflects the simple fact that 45 individual agents worked this market against 18 teams. The volume tells a different story: $368M across those individuals versus $281.1M across the teams, so neither model owns the top of the market. Across 45 agents, these three carry the top of the list, but the long tail means a seller can find a specialist in almost any part of the metro.
